Hoping Rock Band 3 takes the idea of no freestyle fills from The Beatles: RB.
And my number one album request is still this:

Okay, so inv4der and I wanted the original version of this to find its way into RB, but this would have a better shot:

Really? I love them. Real drummers make them up on spot, and when people do them right, it makes the game more immersive. _________________

I'd like some more blues/rockabilly. BB King, John Lee Hooker, George Thorogood, Muddy Waters, etc.
oh, and The Doors self-titled album DLC. _________________

The Material's song "Moving to Seattle" is one of my favorite dlc songs, and it is actually one of the weakest of their songs. They just released an awesome new 3-song ep, and any song from their first ep would be perfect for Rock Band.
You can listen to all their amazing songs and download some of them for free here: http://www.purevolume.com/thematerial _________________

The Wallflowers, Jamiroqui, Everclear, or more 90s soft-rock/alternative in general would be fantastic. The day Semi-Charmed Life becomes available for DLC I will quite possibly shit myself. _________________

Step 1: Release Rock Band 2 in Australia already. I've been playing a US import on a US 360, but the whole country here thinks GHWT is awesome, while RB languishes behind. EA's fault for not releasing here earlier - if they had, they'd get all the sales, and people would call GHWT a rip-off of RockBand, instead of the other way around.
Step 2: Release a track pack of Australian music - Free bundled with Aussie RB2 or RB3, regular track pack price for the rest of the world. Heaps of awesome bands to choose from, modern and classic:
- Augie March
- Butterfly Effect
- Children Collide
- Cog
- The Grates
- Grinspoon
- Gyroscope
- Howling Bells
- Hunters and Collectors
- INXS
- Jebediah
- John Butler Trio
- The Living End
- Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
- Powderfinger
- Regurgitator
- Something With Numbers
- Spiderbait
- Tame Impala
- You Am I
Step 3: Introduce RPG or Meta-game elements into the next Rock Band. Playing songs for themselves is fun, but there could be so much more. |

That was amazing. I'd actually prefer that live version to a studio cut.
'Bands that were in RB2 but sadly don't have DLC yet' DLC:
Mastodon- The Wolf Is Loose
Cheap Trick- Dream Police
Alice In Chains- ...anything. >_>
Tenacious D- Tribute
Linkin Park- A Place For My Head
Beastie Boys- Live At PJs
Rage Against The Machine- "Sleep Now In The Fire"
Gameplay features:
-Variable Breakneck Speed. Too fast right now.
-DLC-only mode for online play (lock on-disc songs? I dunno)
-Fix the band stand-ins for guitar/bass, which would just involve differentiating the instruments more _________________
