Framingham, MA SAT 06/07/08 Rock Band Tournament 3pm!

is DLC in play for this tourney or is it just the original songs, since probably not everyone has all the DLC

We use two TVs for the tournament. So both hard drives used have a considerably large amount of the DLC. Any song that is available on both hard drives is fair game for tournament play. One hard drive has every song , the other is missing the David Bowie pack, The Police pack, the 30 seconds to mars songs, the thrasher pack, and some of the cars songs. All other songs can be chosen at the tournament. Any songs in particular you were wondering about?

na nothing in particular i was jw, we don't have all the DLC but we have a good amount that if someone used a song that we didnt have we could do the same to them im sure haha. Thanks for clearing that question up though.

I had to edit something in the rules... it's a best 2 out of 3 Double Elimination Tournament... Sorry for any confusion. I copy pasted last month's.

I think I'm also gonna be able to make this, but I need some bandmates. I play expert guitar/bass and hard vocals and drums. I'm gonna be bringing two of my guitars, one of which is this which I probably shouldn't be allowed to play in competition.

Is anyone who is going for sure need a good teammate?

I had been planning to go see my brother in Boston next weekend, who's a better guitarist than me, and I'm mostly a drummer. This sounds cool, so I might talk to him and see if we could change our plans and leave a week early for the tourney. What kind of setup do you have for drums, and are participants supposed to bring their own instruments? And if so, what kind of mods are allowed?

It is recommended that you bring your own instruments... including drums. We will have drums here but I want the "don't blame anyone but yourself" thing if you do poorly instead of blaming our drums or guitars.

The rest of the bands in the tourney may have caught a break.. Bear might not be in attendance after all, we might be missing our lead guitarist. If so we'll have to catch you guys next month.. it is monthly is it not? Or did i just make that up?

I'd like to go but i don't have a band. I can do lead/bass guitars, check my scores. I'm first in GH2X div.3 (going into the playoffs now) on the leagues if that accounts for anything. PM me if your interested.

Damn!! I had a lock band in place (drummer was #5 on XBL, guitarist was #40...etc) and now it looks like they are pulling out. I'd still like to go, but I need a band. I play expert guitar/bass and hard drums/vocals but much prefer to play a guitar. Let me know if anyone is still interested in forming a band with me.
