No membership required, except for the obvious "sign up for Scorehero" part, which you've done already. You only have to accomplish the accomplishment listed in the banner.
For example:
This banner requires you to FC Hang You From the Heavens on Expert Drums in order to use it. If you see a banner with OMB in it, that means you need to have FC'd all of the parts in the song, Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Vocals in order to use it. All banners are assumed to be on Expert difficulty unless stated in the banner itself, like this Hard difficulty banner:
To put them in your sig:
Profile > Signature, which is near the bottom > put in the image tags with the banner url inside of it.
Code: | [img]http://shrinkd.com/images/hyfthxdfc.jpg[/img] |
Would turn into:
Also, host the banners you plan to use on your own Photobucket, Imageshack, tinypic or any other image hosting site, or else the original bannermaker's bandwidth will be eaten.
Any questions? _________________

It's the URL of the image in a set of [img] tags. Photobucket will provide URLs for hosted images so you don't have to hunt those down. I'm not sure about the other hosting sites, but I'd think they would. _________________
