I tried doing it without going into falsetto at all, which meant having to yell it a little bit, well not yell but be loud so the vocals are slightly loud (in my opinion) ((and I mean me not the vocal track cause THAT's off)). See what you think.

I should have taken some more time on one step closer quick recording didnt practice it and sound stupid at the beginning... I didnt do Falsetto on One Step either kinda fun...
