Solid. Funny crap, I was just playing IWYTWM in my head when I said oh, what was announced today.
Narrows that down.
I had a habit of having a song in my head, turning on the radio/tv and it would be on at that exact point. |

That would be humorous, if not for what happened recently in Indianapolis. Bad taste |
I guess I should try and stay on top of every stage collapse around the world to make sure I don't offend you. |
It would be hard to stay on top of, what with the stage collapsing and all. |

LOL.
Anyway, Cheap Trick's stage collapse happened in my city, at an event I had attended the night before, and the only casualties there were some backline and possibly the reputation of Bluesfest. Since that's obviously what I was referring to, hopefully we can all get along, and switch to decaf as needed. _________________

I can't really give you 'proof', but listen to both links, and then camp your local classic rock station until I Want You to Want Me spawns.
Ten bucks says it'll start out with some screaming in the background. :p |

I said that because VH1C would usually play radio versions, and the one time they played it, it was studio. _________________

Still don't wanna remove it! Happy it's here, though! |

I listened to both versions, and yeah, it's definitely the live version that I'm more intimately familiar with from whatever "classic rock on your FM dial!" station I used to listen to back in the day. (Determining programming selections from your own local rock station will be left as an exercise to the reader.)
Pretty enthused about this week on the whole. "Dream Police" is one of those semi-guilty pleasures I've quietly hoped to have pop into the Rock Band universe at some point; glad to see that coming to pass. _________________

If you check Wikipidia, you can see that the IWYTWM didn't chart outside of Japan (and #97 in Canada, but they don't count). The Live version? #7 US, #29 UK, #2 Can, #15 Aus. Surrender live gets a lot of airplay too even though it was never a single.[/url] _________________

I wouldn't say it's lackluster. It really just feels like a different song. It works great for different moods. The live does take preference, but if I'm ever in a somewhat relaxed mood, it's a perfect time for the studio version. _________________

Cheap Trick isn't bad, but it's a shame that the only two songs I want from them, will never be put in cause they are from a lesser known 80's animated movie lol (Born to Raise Hell, I'm the Man) |
