Well, we already knew EMF, and it really wouldn't be any track beyond Unbelievable, so that's no big surprise.
RHCP is cool, and I kind of expected them to follow at some point after we got Soundgarden back.
Lots of live Pearl Jam? That's awesome. They generally produce some pretty rockin' live tracks. |

The other thread on Pearl Jam RB should probably just be merged with this or something.
Anyway, I like Pearl Jam but I haven't even fucking heard of half those songs. Disappointed by the lack of Elderly Woman Behind The Counter, but happy for Better Man, Daughter, Yellow Ledbetter, Keep On Rocking.
RHCP might be alright. Fall Out Boy would be great. _________________

Hmmm, January 1st 1970 must've been a good day for music. |

I don't know the technical reason, but December 31st 1969 appears a lot when computers and so on aren't given real dates. That's probably why the day after would show up a lot, on songs by bands that wouldn't even form even a decade or more later.
As for the songs, I'm pretty worried about where I'll get points to get the RHCP pack. _________________

I do! It's because January 1st, 1970 is the epoch of Unix time, which is the number of seconds elapsed since said epoch. If they happen to use -1 as the date, this would be December 31st, 1969. There's your Esoteric Knowledge of the Day. _________________

I would be all over that Chili Peppers pack like a fat kid on the chocolate cake
Fall Out Boy reaction is "about time, but I don't care because I have all those songs in Geetar Hero." Pearl Jam is good, but I probably won't pick any of it up. _________________

Awesome finds! Considering I'm With You comes out August 30th, there's a pretty good chance that pack will come out on that day (although it's not for certain obviously). I do wish we could have gotten some other songs like Can't Stop and Higher Ground, but at the same time, Parallel Universe is an unexpected surprise. Chances are, I'll grab the whole pack. Fall Out Boy will also definitely be a buy, considering this is a three-pack of the last three songs I wanted from them. My guess is for Pro on Dance, Dance, although SWGD is my second guess/choice.
This quite odd about PJ though. Obviously these songs are all finished, but it's not even certain if these will be released. This is pretty much gonna be PJ overkill no matter what, since it looks clear that this won't be released in stores, which means a ridiculous amount of DLC. Personally, I would have bought a disc, but I'd probably only pick up a few of these as DLC. Life Wasted would be a must, to get one step closer to finishing GH2 (on 360 at least). I'd also consider Yellow Ledbetter, Worldwide Suicide, Better Man, Even Flow (since it's final tier guitar apparently), and maybe a couple others, all depending on the quality of the live versions. But I'm not holding my breath for these to ever come out, despite clear evidence that they do exist. _________________

So, how long before the Journey pack then?
Anyway, love the Pearl Jam choices, but really, if there's no disc, they better ration out these songs as DLC, because really, that would be one hell of a huge pack.
Also, no Can't Stop makes me sad. |

Seeing as I want all the Pearl Jam (really badly), I'd much rather it be released as one giant pack to save money. But I'll buy it anyway it's released.

More RHCP is always awesome
Not too big on Pearl Jam but I enjoy some of their songs. Life Wasted for the win! <3
Hopefully some/most of these songs have pro charts |

If this is true I will be happy for that FOB 3 pack and 8 pack of RHCP songs since we finally get some Californication songs, yet I can't help but be disappointed that "Around the World" is not there. That would have been super fun on Bass.
I would really hope they do something with Dani California and Give it Away, i hate not having the latter but having the rest of the album. _________________
