Already have my co-op roulette score done and I got a bye this round in guitar. Hopefully I can find workarounds for the next rounds in those, but I haven't done my score yet for this so I'll have to drop. Sorry. |
Oh wow, looks like Federer has dropped out of Wimbledon [/tennis analogy that no one will get]
That sucks Ganon, I'm sorry to hear that, best of luck getting things to work for guitar and for co-op.
As for me, I submitted a score for laughs, I don't expect to get in and there's honestly no way I could advance, but I decided to put in a score just 'cause. I really don't like China Grove as a song, as my buddy Dave put it best; "yeah there's no like, deeper, interesting meaning to this song, it's literally just a song about some dumb town in Texas."
Sorry to hear Ganon is dropping, but good luck to googleimage against an alternate, if it's me you'll surely destroy me _________________

If I can get my camera that is.
What happens in these cases: do the remaining participants get reseeded, then the alternate takes the lowest seed? Or does the alternate simply replace the leaving participant? _________________

Alternates take the place of the missing participant. If more than one score is missing, alternates are plugged in according to seed (if, say, 3rd and 4th seeds are missing, top alternate who submitted takes the place of three, next alternate down takes the place of 4). _________________

Ack, that's terrible news, GanonMetroid - and couldn't have happened at a worse time. Here's wishing you a speedy return to the keys!
In other news: Saturday night's alright for GRINDING~! _________________

You have no idea how relieved I am that I don't have to grind SNAFF.
Have fun, kids. _________________

As soon as I saw SoundDefense was the #8 seed, I knew I wasn't getting any advantage out of facing an alternate. What a score, nicely done. Looks like I will also be spared from SNAFF. _________________

Whew! Just got a SNAFF score I'm happy with after a fun Saturday night (and Sunday morning) of grinding (what, you thought I was just making a joke? ). What a fun song. Best of luck malictus!
Now I have to grind Jerry Was A Racecar Driver in the bass league.... yeegsh. And least I had a good result on Antibodies.
Edit: Can't believe I forgot to comment on this earlier: Very nice job on getting the China Grove FC, TheSoundDefense! _________________

Watch out Voltgloss there's a (slight) chance you may have some real competition here! |
Good to hear - I wouldn't have it any other way. Best of luck! _________________

Thanks googleimage and Voltgloss! I wasn't really going to submit a score for China Grove since I was an alt, but I randomly decided I'd try and see what Hard score I could get on the last day, and a couple hours later, whaddya know, FC and I'm in the semifinals.
Of course, it's going to be the exact opposite here - I put countless hours into this round's song, even putting off schoolwork, and I'm not going to beat viukkis. Le sigh. _________________

It was too little, too late for me I'm afraid. Still, I managed a near-FC and gold star, so I'm happy with my improvement (nearly 200K improvement from my previous score!) Congrats Voltgloss! _________________

Well played, malictus. It's been a pleasure crossing swords (keys?) with you.
All right, viukkis, best of luck! _________________
