Originally, about half a dozen songs were going to be released with vocals; these last couple in particular were chosen because I thought they'd be fun to "sing." I saved the vox tracks for last (after I'd done the gtr/bass/drums for all the other tracks) and quickly discovered I hated doing them. They're so tedious and boring I couldn't do it. So now none of them have vox. 
The vox track for Rusty Nail is very nearly finished though, so I guess I'll finish that up and post it sometime. I don't know when that'll be...

Maybe a kind person will write an easier to use app (probably not going to happen). RBN will be fun though.

Alright guys, I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and say no track today. I thought it was done well enough to be released, but as I was recording it I saw mistake after mistake and it's just not ready to go out yet.
The track is virt's Crystal Flash, which I've released for Guitar Hero before (you can see it here and here). However, this track was redone from the ground up - sync, fretting, star power, everything. It's a lot of work to do a full band custom for a 24-minute song (again). More than I had anticipated. On the bright side though, it's looking much better than the chart I originally released ages ago.
Seeing as the "bonus" I had planned to release at the end has not panned out either, I suppose I'll just release Crystal Flash then instead. So much for surprises!
Tomorrow's an "L" day.

@M4v3rIcK: the sync is actually quite good; it's youtube's a/v sync combined with the shoddy avi I recorded that makes it look bad. The chart is pretty sloppy overall, though.
@y'all: no Journey Through the Dark takers? Really? It's not as bad as I apparently made it sound.

I don't know if you take requests, but could you do Take Me Home by After Midnight Project? It fits in with many of the customs you already have considering it was in a video game (Prey for 360,PC). Also If you decide to do this song, I hope you use the Prey version and not the Album version. I think the Prey version's drums part would be alot more fun to play. I don't do requests... And that song is nothing like the other songs I've posted, genre or source considered. It's not even a theme, it was just licensed for a game. also it sucks
On an entirely unrelated note, why the hell do people start custom projects when they've got virtually no work done? It's a damn plague in the Custom Songs subforum on the GH side; I've yet to see one ever finished. Yeah, hey guys btw, I'm doing a complete project it's gonna be called Guitar Hero: Band and it's gonna be 52 new songs and textures and guitars and animations and fretboards and hey to prove it I wrote down a setlist yeah awesome huh oh btw does anyone want to chart all these songs and make all the textures?

I didn't even announce the damn thing until a week prior to September, and even then I had material to distribute.
