Ready to challenge yourself to play expert drums on "Boulevard of Broken Dreams?"

According to IGN.com (we are 99% sure this is not tribestros playing a joke on us), Green Day will join the likes of Aerosmith, Metallica, and The Beatles by getting their very own video game where kids unwilling to take the ten minutes to learn every Green Day song ever written can play Green Day songs in virtual reality. Billie Joe Armstrong leaked the info in a radio interview, claiming the game will come out "by the end of this year."

I was going to complain, but then I remembered I complained about how bad I thought Rock Band Beatles would be, but it looks great. So I guess I'll remain skeptical as well.

It sounds like this claim is based entirely on BJ's comments during that radio interview, where, to me, he didn't sound real sure of what he was talking about.

As a vocalist and Green Day fan, I would not mind them getting the Beatles treatment, but they are not The Beatles. I can't see them getting an exclusive, non-exportable game.

Track-pack or DLC (like what's already been announced) -- that's what I'm thinking.

Boulevard of Broken Dreams? I think we should prepare ourselves for Time of Your Life expert drums.

On a more serious note, I'll definitely pick this up. Guitar may not be very fun, but some of the drumming off of the American Idiot album will be great.
