I wonder if anyone is willing to convert some of the "classic" GH customs to RB customs... that would be an interesting job, but at least most of the hard work is done, assuming reasonable charting practices. As long as the original chart author is fine with it, it would be a pretty cool thing.

I haven't looked at it in depth much, but I'm fairly certain you won't have to change much to get the KR midi to work with RB. In fact, KRMaker can open up RB midi's just fine and display the vocal chart perfectly.

I haven't been able to open my PS2 MIDIs directly in KRMaker, I've had to play around with them in Anvil first to get the MIDI in a format that Java understands. If anyone has opened these MIDIs directly in KRMaker successfully, can you tell me what version of Java etc. you have? I wanted to do some programming using these MIDI files and I'd prefer to use Java if I can.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread or if it's a really stupid question, but which notes do I choose for drums in dB?

Look in the "Rock Band Midi Format" thread, about half way down (not in the original post) and someone says how it corresponds to guitar in dB (it's not the intuitive order).
