As far as enforcement is concerned, it typically wasn't until it resulted in a path improvement that it was removed. I know Iggy used just a couple of pauses to get super-optimal by about 500 points or so on I Got You, using an AS only possible with pause extend, but you won't find that score on SH anymore. He thought it was fine to use what pauses were allowed under the new (at the time) patch, and he was told he was mistaken. (Wii never had the number of allowed pauses patched in, so IDK don't know how that kind of trick being allowed would have applied to Wii. Just arbitrarily tell me I can pause only 8 times? Maybe it's different now with all consoles are on relatively equal footing.)
This new method can really only improve scores via path improvements... So yeah it should be more obvious if it's occurred. |

King George: 2/sk1, 2/sk1-ESF, 2/sk3 (Benjaxlax5)
Is this path accurate? I mean I got first place on it but I found it almost impossible to hit the ESF in the middle so I have to change it to 1p-ESF then continue from there. So far, the top score on Xbox currently is 119,988 but I'm sure it could be beat if that ESF were to be hit |

Never ceases to amaze me what lengths people will go to or what small exploit they will take advantage of for a few 100 points |

Tell Her No (Zombies): 2, 2/ESF (MWcw709)

Need to make some corrections to Joker & The Thief, but ultimately the same path:
Joker & The Thief: 3/, 2/BOD-RS, 2/, 3/AT-sk1 (anotherD, MasterNobody, TheAdept)
Edit: Added credit to TheAdept for adjustment of final activation.
Sing (Ed Sheeran): 4/, 2/, 3/ESF (dbforthree)

Your clarified path for joker should end with 3/AT-sk1, 3/AT is suboptimal. |

Smooth Criminal: 4/sk1, 3/FRS, 3/sk1
Grants 378,496 which is opitimal for this path
I tried Billtvshow's path which has: 4/AS instead of sk1 but I could not seem to hit that last OD phrase to continue it
As, for the second activation you can activate around 95% of the FRS and it'll still hit; any later and it'll overlap
I'm sure more points are granted with 4/AS but I couldn't hit it |
