RB2+20, LRB, GDRB, Track Pack codes are hit or miss and very much YMMV.

Beyond that, there's just the stuff that wasn't RB3 available, iirc.

You forgot the Metallica pack, but apart from that I think that list is pretty accurate. Thanks for posting that

Well, that pack was in April 2013, haha.

I didn't catch that my list wasn't starting on row 1, so the June tracks were what I had. Guess I should have checked the official thread. :p

You have the artist and song title switched for these. Interestingly enough though, even though I also have it marked as pulled on PSN since it no longer shows up in the in-game store IIRC, it is still on the PSN web shop, apparently available for purchase (I have not actually tried so I don't know if it errors out during the purchase process though).

It still works, along with all three of those Anarchy Club songs and Cold by CMM.

What frustrates me isn't expired DLC (though that does suck), but why they chose to put certain songs ONLY on XBOX 360. I was so excited to read before that Omega Wave by Forbidden was a DLC track, so I rushed to the RBN store and I couldn't find it. Then I look online to see that it only came out for 360. WHY??? There is no logical sense behind that whatsoever.

Except there totally is a logical reason behind it.

RBN tracks were made using a Microsoft-exclusive development platform, and hence could only be released through the Xbox 360. If Harmonix wanted to release it on the PS3 (or the Wii), they had to essentially take the track into their own hands and adapt it to that system, and release it on their own. Because that entirely destroyed the concept of the RBN (user-generated content that required relatively little involvement on the part of HMX), Harmonix could only afford the time/human resources/money to port the most popular/most likely to sell RBN tracks over to the PS3/Wii.

Hence why most RBN tracks never appeared on that system.

I'm not saying it doesn't suck, but I am saying that there is a logical reasoning behind it.

Sony limiting Harmonix to 5 RBN tracks per week didn't help, either, even with the 30 day exclusive period.

So when you had 360 RBN weeks where something like 35 RBN tracks went up? It would have taken PS3 2+ months to catch up with that one week alone.

Heck, RBN 1.0's entire run over 4 release weeks on the Wii almost matched PS3's RBN 1.0 run over 26 release weeks for songcount, to give you a real world example.

They were able to release what seemed as many songs as they wanted for Wii, but RBN songs didn't sell on Wii, so it became irrelevant as it ended up being discontinued there.

Add in the above mentioned restrictions and technical reasons in the above posts and RBN was always going to be super constrained outside of the 360. I think if they ever try to do this again they're going to be console-neutral.
