It sounds mostly reasonable, and better than most of your songs. I'd like it. _________________

Would you chart Onieria by any chance? Not really a guitar song but sounds like a good challenge for keyboardists. _________________

Any other suggestions? I just finished Yuukei, and am ready to begin work on another song. _________________

Personally, I think The Light at the End is underrepresented. For its tracks, I'd like Euphoria and the title track, they both are good songs. As for Wander, maybe Donjon is a pretty good song. _________________

I still want Exodus (can't remember if I said this before). Been a while since I listened to it.
I'm also really liking Fog of War. _________________

Right now I'm torn between Oneiria, Tessitura, Halcyon, and Fog of War, if I feel like it.
EDIT: I'm doing Halcyon.
EDIT 2: Charted the drums and bass. The drums are so, so fun. _________________

If anything, I'll reuse that part in another song, because I like it too, but I won't make the song... It's a terrible song... C'mon, the chorus is literally sweeps and super fast scales. _________________

Fair enough. I like the song, but you're right, it doesn't look that fun outside that part. |

Epic would've been bad. I think it should just stay on GH3PC forever. _________________

Halcyon was just approved!
There is a very low chance that Exodus will be released. I would rather make my newer songs on my newer album rather than go back to a song that I made years ago.
After Yuukei is released, I will probably go for something off of Synesthesia or Wander, or maybe even the new album I'm working on. _________________

I feel like your composition is definitely improving. One thing that I'm going to recommend working on, especially on drums, is accents and syncopation. I've noticed a trend throughout your music that most of the hits are the same volume within a specific section. What you might try out is either putting stronger hits on the beat or playing with syncopation and putting accents elsewhere, to see where it carries the feel. When you have snares in the standard two and four and then more snares in between, unless you're trying to play with the beat, they usually sound better if they're a bit quieter than the ones on the beat, unless you're specifically looking for syncopation, in which case it would work better if it was brought out across the instruments. Even within that, you can vary the volume to multiple different levels and give a beat more variety and interest without actually adding or removing any notes. _________________

I am aware of syncopation and accents, but the main problem for me is the virtual drum set I'm working with. If the velocity for the snare is at about 80%, the change is unnoticeable. But drop it any lower than that and it drops to a point where the snare doesn't sound very good/isn't audible anymore. It doesn't happen with hi hats and tons, so I mess around with accents on those a lot, but yes. I really need to invest in new virtual instruments!
I'm planning on launching a Kickstarter some time in the future, so you can be looking forward to that... Tell your friends!
I've been writing music for quite some time now, so trust me when I say I understand what you're talking about. I will be sure to take it under consideration. I've been making more video game music lately, and it does focus a lot on syncopation.
So yeah, thanks for the advice. Halcyon is an older song, (almost 2 years) if that tells you anything about my writing style. _________________
