With #1 MaximusDM and #8 uSound failing to submit a score, #10 viukkis has been substituted as the only alternate to submit a score, and has advanced to Round 2.

No-shows, especially during playoffs are really disappointing, but we're only punishing MaximusDM as we had made an exception to allow him into the league late before his early exit. |

Wow, that was totally unexpected. I only submitted a score because I wasn't 100% certain if a failure to submit a score as an alternate in playoffs would count as a drop-out, so I did a quick run (well, two runs) just to be safe.
There's just one problem: the Leagues page seems to think that I did not get substituted and thus I can't see the song picked for this round or submit a score. Hopefully this will get fixed before Saturday... |

Oh my god no way, I thought I had until Wednesday night. Damn.
Was an honest mistake! I kept thinking I had another day because Tuesday night I was tackling some Rock Band goals.
I don't expect to get another favor of letting me submit late. Although I'd be very grateful. :O But I understand it would be unfair to those who submitted on time.
If not I suppose I'll follow along unofficially.

Yeah, I'm sorry that we can't take late scores, but we can't take late scores.
Also I own some responsibility for this, because usually the "long" playoff round is at the start of the week. I mean the league page itself and the post I made here both clearly said three days, so I'll only go so far in self-castigation, but if I had it to do over again, that first round would have been four days.
I appreciate that participation has been better in these leagues compared to the past. Thanks guys. _________________

Congrats to Hafkie on eliminating JCirri. In unrelated news, it's a shame your week-long tempban will prevent you from competing in the finals. _________________

If it makes you feel any better, Microsoft, I didn't get it either.
I'd like to add my congratulations to both Hafkie and JCirri for what looked like a hell of a match-up looking at the scores. I'm not at my Xbox and can't see the LBs now but seeing scores that high on a not-too-long so is pretty crazy, both scores have got to be near the tops of the LBs and will probably stay there. It was really cool to see JC involved in competition, really felt like an SH-style throwback to the early days (way before my time lol). Best of luck to both Microsoft and Hafkie in the finals, I can't see what song you guys have but whatever it is I have no doubts that we'll see some astronomical scores for it up on the leaderboards. _________________

Love Rollercoaster is the song in the finals, if Maximus didn't miss one round, I'm sure he'd been in the finals and probably the winner too (heck, his score on If 6 was 9 is over 1 mil)
Anyway, good luck to the not-longer-tempbanned-Hafkie, heres hoping it will be a highly competitive final _________________

Love Rollercoaster
You got 45 minutes to unofficially beat me. :P
Also why was this round stretched to Wednesday night? I call shenanigans. _________________

Since it's now midnight....... I already did.
Also, I think this round got stretched to Wednesday because the Main Songs league was stretched to Wednesday upon request. |
