They all sound great, but idunno if I'll shell out for them since I don't play with any big FtP or Strokes fans anymore. On the other hand, this makes me really hopeful for songs other than We Are Young by fun. _________________

I'll probably get all 3 in the near future, Foster the People are one of the best bands around right now that get mainstream radio time. Cool week. _________________

Seriously, about fucking time we get more from The Strokes. I'm hoping they just used UCOD as filler for not having another Foster song for a pack and we don't have to wait another 5 years before we get Juicebox or anything else from The Strokes. Two good Foster songs too, awesome week. _________________

Well, on the bright side, UCoD sounds pretty fun and from what I've heard about rocksmith it actually is really fun. So, it may not be Juicebox, Heart in a Cage, Last Nite, 12:51, but it might be more fun to play than them, at least.
Next stop: Rolling Stones DLC! _________________

I couldn't even find studio versions for two of these songs, because Germany is dumb like that apparently. But Helena Beat is a guilty pleasure of mine. Don't like the other FTP song, and I'm indifferent on the Strokes tune. _________________

Am I the only one that thought Under Cover of Darkness's vocals looks like fucking chaos? Might pick that one up for the drum chart and cause it's a damn fine song. I'll pass on the Pro upgrade since I have Rocksmith.
Never heard Foster the People but sounds like it should scratch the itch of people who want something new. Certainly doesn't sound like any music I know of in RB already. _________________

Sounds like it'll be a fine return to the days of Reptilia.
Considering getting that, no idea about Foster the People, I've never even heard that Pumped Up Kicks song. I'm sure I'll have an opinion someday. _________________

Torches was one of my favorite albums of 2011, and their live performance sold me as a full-fledged fan. I'm super happy for these songs, although like others Houdini would've been great. |

In before the pro guitar chart is a clusterfuck of wat.
Seriously, if there is ONE CHART on disc for Rocksmith I completely abhor, it is the combo chart for Under Cover. Shit is SO PAINFUL. _________________

Pretty much that. Fun solo, but the rest of the song is just whatthefuck and way too far to scroll to so I never play it. _________________

Fuck yeah Helena Beat. By far my favourite FTP song.
Hopefully we get more Blitz artists as DLC this summer – I’d die if we got Human Touch by Rick Springfield, or If I Had $1000000 by Barenaked Ladies, or ANYTHING from Danger Days by MCR that isn't Na Na Na. _________________

I was sooo hoping for the FtP songs to be Houdini and Call it What You Want, but the entire album is great. This'll be my first purchase in a while. _________________

GuitarHailz wrote: | OH MY GOD! Foster the People! Don't Stop (Color on the Walls) is probably my 2nd favorite song of theirs with Helena Beat being a close 3rd. These are GREAT choices, this is the first week in a long time I've been super excited about DLC. If you've never heard these songs give them a listen, they definitely have a unique and fun sound that a lot of people can get into. They should be enjoyable songs even if they're not too hard on anything (though I can bet the most interesting charts this week will be on keys).
If you like those songs pick up the album. The whole album is just as good IMO. |
I don't really play Rock Band anymore and I got happy simpy because of the announcement and this ^^ That made my day Hailz. _________________

But of course, from a "selecting songs that jibe with the spirit of the occasion" standpoint. But that'd be too easy, and does not scratch my abritrary "supremely idiotic query that perhaps only ScoreHero may know the answer to" itch. |
