Not gonna' lie, I forgot that Slayer came out this week, too. |
That's pretty good when the current DLC announcement is SO bad that it cancels out the memory of the kick ass DLC from a week before. LOL |
I don't even think that was the reason. I mean, this isn't that bad of a week, we've definitely had a lot worse. I think it was just the "Welp, this isn't on the PSN store, I don't really care." attitude. I'm going to have to remember what comes out so I can get stuff in time for RB:B. _________________

I'm buying the pack. I know I'll have a lot more fun with this pack than the Slayer pack. Get the Party Started has so much history with me so there's going to be a massive nostalgia bomb when I play it. |

The selections could've been better, but it's not a bad pack. I like the contrast between this week and last; they've been doing it a lot now.
RB:B soon as well, so that'll be a 25 song week. Just remember that. _________________

Where is "Raise your glass".
Ah well, pretty good party songs. I don't think I'm gonna buy them all. |

As of last night on the PSN, the track "Please Don't Leave Me" is not available singly, but does come with the 4 song track pack. Personally, I am not a fan of the current system where Harmonix releases a 4 song track pack, but only 3 of the tracks singly that week. The Shinedown track "Bully" became available singly on the 13th, so there is hope the additional Pink song will do so down the road. You typically mention this in your post, so I thought I would point it out as you omitted it this time around. Keep up the great work Singe. _________________

As far as I know the only track which was intentionally only sold in the pack is the full version of 2112. _________________

Apparently it was unintentional, but 3 times in the last few weeks is something to note. Quoted from the DLC discussion on Rock Band's official site for this week's downloads:
"***HMXHENRY EDIT 4/17***
Unexpected results on SCEA (aka PS3 in the US): Pink's "Please Don't Leave Me" will be delayed, but only as a single. It is currently available in the pack, but not as a stand alone track. We're following up to find out what happened and we'll get that released as soon as we hear back from Sony."
So there ya go.
Edit: OOOOH good news for SCEE users of PSN:
"***UPDATE***
Hey all, we have some good news! This temporary DLC outage, while originally expected to run through the beginning of the summer, should be wrapped up much sooner. Thanks to some hardworking devs here at Harmonix and some good luck with the submission, it’s looking like this will likely be resolved in early May. We’ll update this thread and future DLC announcements with specific dates when we have more info in the coming days. Thanks so much for your continued patience. "
