Well damn, The Party Song is even faster and harder when trying to play it. As soon as I thought I had the pedal pattern it switches lol. Fun week on drums though. _________________

Played the three Blink songs on drums. STFTK is easy but pretty fun. It's repetitive, but the parts you repeat are somewhat interesting. I failed The Party Song at 6%, but the track is fun outside of the hi-hat madness. Too bad I will pretty much never, ever beat it. Finally, Up All Night is by far the most fun. They intro in probably the best way they could, and the entire song is just a joy to play. Nothing is too hard or too easy, and it flows very well. So in review:
Get STFTK if you like the song and aren't looking for a hard chart.
Get The Party Song if you think you can somehow pass it.
Get Up All Night no matter what kind of drummer you are. _________________

Damn it, I'm excited for this pack to come on PSN tomorrow. I've been meaning to get a blink pack for ages, the only song I have is Aliens Exist, it's always been on "the list", a massive, massive list which only seems to be filled with more and more songs each week. Backspacer, one of my favourite albums of 2009, for example, is still on there. It only really seems to change when new songs come out that I have to complete an artist's discography. e.g. my Nirvana amount increasing by 17 last week.
This is definitely the best blink pack, though. May have to get the singles and this, and the other two packs another time (Although I do love First Date and The Rock Show...) _________________

So I'm on my laptop at work with terrible video lag and no audio.
How fast is that drum section on party song? It looks like a good challenge (I've FC'ed Blackened and the fast thrash beat section of Hammer Smashed Face) is this faster than both of those? _________________

So Hammer Smashed Face with double kicks and offbeat kicks? Time to get another double bass! _________________

So it's faster than 8ths at 200bpm?
Just wondering, but what's the actual BPM and note division? _________________

Alright after tapping it out this is my personal judgement on the BPM
OGaP = 195-205 BPM
Party Song = 235-240 BPM
In otherwords, holy balls that's fast. _________________

Got the math, 8ths at 240 is 8nps, so it's faster than Dammit by only .1nps at its fastest. (Of course the pedal is far more complex on Party Song, but at least the beat's only for like half the song instead of the whole time like Dammit.) _________________

God damn, The Party Song looks insane on drums. To those of you who have it, how far is it into the Devil Tier? |

It is very hard, and almost un-enjoyable unless you can handle the double kicks and thrash beat. _________________

Yeah, I knew looking at the chart that I really had no intentions of ever legitimately passing it on drums. Although I was referring more to its placement within the tier, particularly in relation to the on-disc songs from RB2 & 3. |

Party Song was a fun little punk tune to jam with. Haven't played in awhile, so it was a nice to get back in with.
Then I also picked up Wait and Bleed...then I cried because of the verse. I tried, but the game was just like "NOPE!" and failure. I know I'm out of practice, but god damn I can't get that riff at all lol |
