"Don't forget that we're celebrating when we hit 2 million fans by announcing DLC artists early! If we hit 2 million by 9/19, we’ll announce FOUR artists coming to Rock Band in the next few months. If we hit it by 9/26, only three artists. By 10/3, two artists. And if we hit it by 10/10, we’ll announce one artist early. So invite your friends to become a fan and spread the word!"

Hopefully we get four. |

Currently at 1,937,307, so we've got 60,000 people to go in 5 days. I don't think we're getting all four. Three most likely. |

I suspect we'll get two. But I'd rather none, I prefer the surprise.
Also, why is this is in the RBN forum? _________________

Time to bug all your friends who aren't crazy about RB, at least until they announce the artists. They can remove it after that if they want. _________________

Not only that, but if they announce artists that are coming "in the next few months", but don't tell us when, it could become an agonizing wait for some people, and a repeat of the "WHERE'S MY TEXAS FLOOD ALBUM?!?! I WANT IT NOW!!" on this forum.
Maybe I'll sign up anyway, just for fun. _________________

Unless they're big names though, folks aren't going to care that much. Which hopefully means they'll be big names. _________________

Indeed, I take this to mean that we'll be getting four big or heavily-requested artists within the next two months. Or maybe even the next four weeks, given their way of revealing fewer artists if it takes longer to hit 2M fans. Can't preview something that's already been released, after all. _________________

Here's the ideal announcement:
Muse
Dream Theater
Tool
Buckethead
Here's what the announcement will be:
Four bands no one cares about. _________________

I know, and I'm so excited, but Buckethead's RBN appearance won't be for a long while. Also, I'm on PS3 so I'd like it to be available for me at the same time as 360, but that's just a selfish thing _________________

Yeah, it's confirmed, but Buckethead himself will be choosing the songs and he's on tour at the moment so the songs haven't even been decided on. However, it is DEFINITELY happening. _________________
