What's the difference between ES and DOD? In LP songs, for example Waiting for the End, the last activation is 2/DODES, but this doesn't make sens to me. I understand ES, though I suck at them lol. Sorry, maybe I'm retarded, but if someone have time to explain to me what are DODs, or better, can make a video to show me ho to deal with DODs, that will be greatly appreciated. =)

DOD means "during overdrive", is a ending squeeze in a overdrive phrase. that's all. it only serves to avoid the "sk" notification.

i don`t have any photo or vid sorry .

i hope that ou understand me.

Is it like a FRS in an ES? What I am doing wrong? lol this is getting more complicated than it should be.

It's basically just a combination of BOD and ES, its when you ES (End Squeeze) on an overdrive phrase. Like Benjaxlax said, its just a convenience notation so you dont have to count how many activations to skip.

No, it isn`t a FRS, it needs squeeze like a normal act.

My understanding is that DOD means that you activate in a window that is in the middle of a phrase that gives OD. You would want to get more points in the latter half of the phrase, since you have 2x then, so that's why it's also an ES

Remember how there is a BOD notation, allowing one to forego counting windows? You just fire immediately before the next OD phrase?

DOD is the same idea. It lets you forego counting windows, and you activate in the middle of an OD phrase. It will always be paired with an ES. Do it like you do any other ES.

I'm not a Vocalist, and I'm not trying to make fun of you guys whatsoever, but I just had to say that I read this thread and it's like you're speaking a different language. xD

Thanks for all the answers. I think I understand. I'll have another look at those DODs, and if I have other questions, I will be back. lol
