Yeah, this got put up yesterday apparently.
The 4 songs are:
Before I Forget
Cold As Ice
The Hardest Button to Button
In the Meantime
Keys work, pro keys work, I'd think pro drums would work too.
It even has lag calibration haha.
Also, pro keys is impossible without practice mode >__> _________________

I'm almost tempted to download the demo just to see how much of the game they actually implemented into a demo. _________________

Yeah, I'd actually like a 360 demo. I want to see how the timing window feels, if the new trill mechanic works, if I can actually calibrate the game, etc. |

I'll be playing these songs to death until I can actually afford this game. _________________

Just played the demo and it wasn't bad! The timing window is about the same as RB2's or maybe a little looser. And the calibration is perfect--just used my numbers that I've used in every GH and RB. I'm not sure why everyone has been having issues with calibrating their games _________________

I'll answer that one for you, by which I mean tell you exactly how it went for me:
1. Calibrate (first thing it asks you to do, achievement etc)
2. Play a couple of songs, realise you can't hit a damn thing.
3. Recalibrate.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 a few times (for me it was three times) before you get it just right.
5. Enjoy your nicely calibrated game. _________________

I actually got so sick of having to do the godforsaken recalibration trial-and-error dance on every random TV my XBOX got carted off to that I sucked it up and bought a new RB-specific guitar for the sole explicit purpose of auto-calibration. I never play on this guitar myself. I turn it on very infrequently, letting it use its detection and measurement mojo to get the necessary calibration numbers before putting it back in cold storage. And I do not regret this purchase in the slightest - worth every penny. Because seriously, fuck manual calibration. _________________

I was just about to say that I wish I had that option, then decided to check just in case those guitars had been released over here without me noticing. And yes - as of yesterday, we finally have them. Up until now, the only option for auto-calibration has been the still hugely overpriced Beatles guitars.
I've just had a nice little tax refund that I was going to spend on a pro guitar, but I might get one of these too... unless of course the Mustang does auto-calibration as well. _________________

Just went to amazon.co.uk and looked at the images of the Mustang, and yes, it does have the little camera and microphone on it for auto-calibration. |
