How about, in the future, we get the option of parental controls within the games? With such an option, we could have uncensored songs (and in turn, other songs that would be unplayable if censored) which would be disabled with the right level of parental control. Basically, if you want to play the uncensored stuff, you have the option, but you don't have to.

It's essentially an extension of Lego Rock Band's censorship.

Two things:
Wasn't "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" in the CCR 12pack?
And there are much, much, much better choices for a King Crimson song. Much better. Thela Hun Ginjeet? Discipline? Elephant Talk?
other than that, good list.

Nope. You're probably thinking of "Who'll Stop the Rain."

Ah, ok. I just remember hearing it in the announcement thread.
And 26 is very good. There are enough RB 'all-stars' that HMX can bring in less used bands. They've already started this, with the Doors, Billy Joel, and several newer bands in RB3. It's a tough decision where to put the all-stars: DLC or on-disc? You want big names on disc, but with DLC as underappreciated as it is, famous songs there might alert more people to its existence.

yeah, good point. with 80ish songs, 20-30 is good i think cause it lets you get a lot of newer bands in there, but you still have room for some "all-stars" and other well-known bands that are gonna make a reaparance and fun songs for specific instruments/the whole band.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GjQYC03fDs This was one of my favorite songs to play in GH3. I'd kill to see this song re-released in a full band game.

If Caught Up In You doesn't end up in RB4, then It definitely needs to be in at least a 3 pack with Hold On Loosely and Second Chance.

And thats not even delving into their deep cuts.

No Papercut or Numb, I think those would be fun as hell.

Papercut probably, I've never really been a fan of Numb.

A fairly well-deserved Rock Band game. I don't see it happening, but it would be really fun and and it's not that far of a stretch. Songs like New Divide, Blackbirds, etc could be released as DLC.
