Okay, I need the help of the wonderful community of ScoreHero. I've had an ION kit for awhile and I can never seem to get it set up in a position where it promotes better rolls, comfortability, etc. while not being awkward to play on or hit the rims while playing. So I'd like to hear what y'all have used for your ION kits and see if any of those can help me.

Thanks in advance.

I'd recommend checking out these threads for pictures of Ion setups:

http://docsrockbandmods.netforums.us/post-pictures-of-your-drum-setup-here-vt1321.html

You'll find TONS of them in those 3 threads.

As for me, I set mine up exactly the same way I set up a 5-piece acoustic kit. Here:

I have this problem all the time too, especially as the clamps on the Ions are just not that sturdy, overtime mine like to loosen up and the pads will move from normal playing.

Thanks for the pics Davidshek
