I'll be fighting over vocals, and possibly drums if I'm good at it. Mainly because it's good to have a singing game that's exclusive to pop. Seriously, I think there are 10 Singstar games and only 30 Rock songs total.
Edit: It's 11, but there's one called Singstar Amped, and that has a good amount of rock.

Fighting over drums won't be a problem for me; none of my friends are any good at rhythm games so drums will scare them off. I foresee my first complete band experience being me on Med drums, and my friends being on Med on the other instruments. Pretty weak but should still be a blast anyway.

Im hyped for the drums.
Ive always wanted to play drums and only ever got to play them twice.
Once at school as a forced, see what other musical instruments are and being only one of 2 kids in the class that could keep the beat he asked us to do.
And another time at a friends house, also the first time I ever heard Slayers Raining Blood because he played the drum part for me.
I had never known about double bass and I had much respect for him.
Running in place basically and slamming away.

So I plan to enjoy this. Plus the wife loves the karaoke revolution games but ps2 lag on the hd is rough, so 360 should be more comparable.
Plus she never got into guitar hero much cuz her wrists would hurt.
So now we can finally play together again. ... ungh?

Anyone know if the drums have half credit or something for notes?
Like if a spot has bass AND snare at the same time, what if you only hit snare or bass? I guess similar to GH chords, obviously you cant hit G or R in a GR.
Cuz some of these have 2 pads and a bass and Ive been wondering how forgiving it is.
Or if its all missed is it counted as 1 missed note?

wot interesting is that no-one has mentioned bass, at all. not that i would actually do bass/rythym, tis too boring my skill level such i can finish 99% of songs on expert wif no sp(freebird is the only one), so i look forward to playing guitar......then drums and phil collins......wtf

Nod, I already mentioned Phil Collins style when it was announced. And no one likes bass man. At least gh3 picked some interesting songs where player 2 isnt napping the whole way. but seeing as how none of the leads look particularly fun, bass should be even easier. Hence it goes up to 6x multiplier, to give you some kind of reason to want to keep playing and not mess up and joke around with it.
