Tournaments + Events in NYC for people Under 21

I know RockGamer.com hosts Weekly Rock Band events on Tuesdays at the Village Pourhouse (http://www.rockgamer.com/events/nyc-pourhouse-tuesdays/), But as far as I know, there aren't really any Events for people who can't get into bars (Do you really have to drink to have some RB fun?

)

A while back, a local diner/bar hosted Guitar Hero nights every week or two, welcoming Gamers of all skill levels and ages. But since those events stopped, I haven't been able to find any events that allow Younger Players to play. Now of course I'm not talking about children, but for those Teenagers in NYC who just want to have a good time.

I haven't really found anybody willing to Host an event, even to a couple of people at their house or something, and since My xbox broke I haven't really been able to host anything either.

I was wondering if anybody knows of any events, or would be kind enough to host or Coordinate events in the NYC area. If so, please comment or PM me, and any possible or upcoming events will be added to the Main Post.

EDIT: Completely off-topic, but a while back, while in a Stream chat, I quoted something which appears in my sig now. Little did I know that the person I quoted it from happened to be the Coordinator of Almost Famous Tuesdays

there are a bunch of events.. but you have to be on a look out for them.. i hosted a few big tournaments in brooklyn. there was one tournament a month or so ago...

just keep an eye out..

i also hosted a rock band marathon! so they are there! how old are you anyway as the pourhouse doesnt id... so if your "21" you can get in.

overall.... check here and see when a nyc event pops up. there is one that might pop up soon. keep an eye out!

I don't know if you guys heard about this in the RB forums but there will be a tourney next Sat (4/25). Most of the info about the tourney can be found at the links. The tourney structure is percentage based, with difficulty counting as a bonus. I participated in this last year with some friends. It was good times (lol @ getting lost during the drive to find the place!)! The more bands = more fun!

Last year we won Play N Trade Gift cards (I don't remember exactly how much money but it was a lot lol), and some other cool stuff.

The RB Tourney starts at 1 but there are other tourneys for different games
