I had a brainstorm...
Back when I was first looking into beatmania IIDX (a japanese rhythm game), I found out about a technique called "toweling", which was used to simulate higher note scroll speeds...
Essentially you use a towel to block off a significant portion of the notechart so that its "shorter" and hence appears to be moving faster because you see the notes for a shorter period of time...
It actually works quite well surprisingly, and this could be a welcome fix for people who are ticked off theres no hyperspeed in this game... |

I think this is how pope FC'd Texas Flood in GH1 actually. It makes no sense to me because my reaction time gets worse, but if it works for you, then go for it. _________________

It works for me because it gives my brain less notes to try and proccess at once, making it more effective. _________________

Going online under band quickplay with a drummer and bassist also spreads tha notes and makes them come at you faster as well. |
