Funk pack drums sounds like it'll have incredibly awesome patterns, but also be really repetitive. Still, if the patterns are awesome enough, that's okay. Pick Up The Pieces drums looked good in the videos.
Sex Machine is going to be one of the best party vocals songs ever. People won't know the words as well as some other party songs, but the things you get to shout during it are so great it won't matter.
I'm conflicted on Last Resort. The main guitar riff sounds really fun, like the chorus in Are You Dead Yeat? but that's about it. I'll probably skip it unless the charts have something unexpected and awesome. I don't like the song and it doesn't really seem like any instruments will be fun outside of that one riff.
Anyway, march has indeed been an awesome DLC month. Last week was a bit of a weak point, but still not bad. Ten should be awesome and should help (along with the funk pack) in providing some good drums songs, which I think is the biggest weakness of this month so far. And a big metal pack seems likely the next week to help compete with GH:M, which could be fun.
Those were RB1 tiers? I had been wondering how it made final tier vocals. This makes more sense. RB1 tier 6 is still kind of weird, since there's like 4 pitched phrases in the whole thing and most of the rest is tambourine, but it makes more sense than RB2 tier 6. |

Holy fuck, James Brown and Against Me! in the same week.
Wow, you've outdone yourselves, Harmonix. _________________

Wowie, awesome week.
Looks like I'll be getting Pick Up the Pieces (for being a fucking awesome song with really fun looking drums), Shining Star (because it will probably climb up to being one of my favorite full band Rock Band songs ever), Use It (for the awesome drums), and either Last Resort (for the epic guitar riff and pathetic lyrics) or Lifeline (because it sounds really fun on guitar with a great riff). Will probably get the James Brown song later after Ten comes out, but I thought the Against! Me song sounded boring and the other New Pornographers song sucked.
I'm really liking the variety this month, Harmonix. |

This this this this a thousand times this. New pornographers fucking rule. Thank you Harmonix! |
This, times a lot. I really want Bones of an Idol, but then again any New Pornographers is amazing.
Sex Machine will be lol-insuing, and the others I'll have to listen to. |

I'm sure my friends will pick up TNP songs so I won't have to worry about them. I'll probably go for the funk pack, maybe the Against Me! track (I enjoy Stop! but I've never heard of anything else by them), and maybe Last Resort if I'm in the mood. Gotta save some points for Pearl Jam too _________________

Is it just me, or does The Killers song "Spaceman" sound a lot like the Against Me song?
I mean, the tune of the choruses is almost exactly the same. |
