Posted: Sun Nov 16, 2008 6:13 pm Post subject: Season 10 Signups Now Open! |
|
|
This season we are running 2 rounds of preliminary signups in order to determine the exact list of leagues that will run. Round 1 will run through Friday Night, and Round 2 through the following Wednesday. After each of these rounds we will remove leagues that do not have sufficient signups to run successfully. If a league that you signed up for is removed from the list, you may use your signup slots in order to signup for other leagues.
Before getting to the list of leagues available for preliminary signups, we have a few changes to the rules this season for leagues.
Signup Cap: You are permitted to have a maximum of 10 songs per week between all leagues. Solo leagues all have 4 songs a week, team leagues have 2 per week. This is due to the majority of people signing up for 3 or 4 leagues in a season not being able to keep up with the song load.
Proof Requirements: In the past we have tried to run leagues purely on the honor system. In the last couple seasons, we have had more and more issues regarding false scores in leagues. As a result, we are instituting some new policies regaring proof requirements. During the main season, if you are capable of obtaining proof for your scores, you should do so after playing the song. Both RB2 and GHWT have made it difficult to distinguish instruments used to obtain a score on the setlist. Therefore setlist proof is not considered concrete enough for these games. During the main season, if for any reason we feel that proof is needed for your scores, and it is not able to be provided then we reserve the right to remove the affected scores. During playoffs, proof is REQUIRED. If you have no means of getting proof for the playoff rounds, you may participate in the main season for fun but you will need to opt out of playoffs. For team leagues, due to the heavy reliance on pathing for getting high scores, and the relative lack of knowledge of what is possible to achieve on songs in band play, proof will be REQUIRED all season. With 4 people in a band, someone should be able to have access to a camera in order to get proof.

yay, it's this time again. Last year leagues were fun, hopefully this year will be just as good.
I'll be joining the RB2 Hard Drum league, hope to see some of the other hard drummers sign up. _________________

Nice to see leagues starting up again after all this time. Bread Michaels Band is 100% for sure doing full band, so that's going to be fun. As for myself, I'm not sure on whether I'm doing RB2 bass or not yet(I'm not set on any leagues besides FB right now). _________________

Do the One Man Band leagues count as one song per week towards your cap, or four? |

I believe it counts as four. I remember someone saying something about it in this same topic on the GH side of scorehero |

The only one I know for sure that I'm in at this point is RB2 solo bass. I might join in guitar too... hopefully I could get a band together by the end of the week but I somewhat doubt it. Oh well. _________________

Last seasons I overall sucked at GH/RB.
Now I'm ready. _________________

You better be ready ScoreHero, A Clockwork Grapefruit is here to BLOW YOUR MIND!! \m/
Seriously though, I'll have fun and I'll hopefully take it seriously this time. I'm doing Guitar/Bass (with CTangent) and OT X. Sounds like fun. _________________
