Why is everyone having so many problems with the bass thing?

I find drums rather easy, almost as easy as guitars. The bass pedal doesnt screw me up at all... Whats so hard about it???

I posted in another thread. Rather than modding exsisting pedals, would buying the pintech stuff work?
