I've only looked through a couple of charts so far and I don't have the game yet, but I was eager to see how songs that were in both GH3 and RB compared.

I went right to Cherub Rock on Hard (since that's what I prefer to play on GH) and I like the look of the main verse riff better than the GH chart. The GH chart is all notes and chords while RB handles it with a YGR triplet (and a couple of other hammer-ons/pull-offs), which makes more sense to me based on how the song is really played (lots of chord sliding). Unless the RB chart is wrong, there is no guitar whatsoever in the outro, but there is on Expert. The GH version outro is fast, single notes ascending from R to O, which is done pretty much the same way with chords on the RB Expert chart. Odd.

I thought Paranoid was harder in RB than GH3....a good bit harder.

I think the "When You Were Young" by The Killers is harder on bass in RB then it is in GH 3.

Ya I know that sounds silly but the timing window is VERY tight in RB compared to GH3 and if you don't keep the rhythm and lose it, it can be hard to get back on track since at times in the song there is nothing else on the same beat as the base. So your trying to get back in rhythm with a small window for success with very little assistance.

I think part of the difficulty for me was that I went into it thinking it was GH3 basically and just was real lazy about keeping the beat and then I kept slipping up and eventually failed. Very embarrassing.

I can do it now w/o much trouble but it's definitely more challenging for me.
