The only thing specific I do in the fills is avoid green until the very end. The one time I went crazy on green, I effectively "overstrummed" the green activation note and started overdrive at 2x.

Going crazy messes whoever's playing guitar up, so I try to at least stay on the beat.

I throw the sticks on the ground, hit the two left pads with my left hand, the two right with my right, and the bass as much as I can (with my foot, actually). This way I'm hitting 5 at once rather than 3-ish. Helps a lot, but make sure you can hit those last notes stick-free.

I used teh cheat today. just leaned in and spammed the ABXY buttons on the controller while hitting the pedal.
Still nowhere near as crazy as the lead w/ solo buttons.

I usually just try and do 8th notes and block out whatever I hear coming from the TV...my fill lag is horrible. Tried turning off DDS, latency, everything. Anyone fix theirs?

I try to do something that fits the song so I don't screw up the guitarist or bassist.

I find myself usually doing some sequence involving RY, YB, and RB; usually at double the beat, and make sure to end with the G crash. I never end up touching that pad during fills.

Now I just need some good sequences for those big finishes...

As my style changes, I usually do this is twice the speed of the song's 8th notes.

An 8th note RB, a 16th Y then R then an 8th Y, repeating.
