If you wanna get rid of it or you just can't play it anymore, I have a use for it:
I wanna take the chip board that the strum bar buttons are attached to and see if this will add some spring to the Stratocaster's strum bar, helping it return to a neutral position after strumming.
The only thing that really 'busts' on the SG's is the strumming system. If that's broken it would be no use to you. If you're talking about the X-Plorer, the strumming system doesn't have a whole lot of rebound itself. As for the
Les Paul, it might be possible.
Besides, the latest revision of the Strat has a fixed strum system. _________________

Fixed strum? Did they install a totally new strumming system or what?
Also, I don't really need the SG/X-Plorer's strumming system to "work." I just need the board with the buttons on them. As long as they depress and spring, that's all I care about.
