| Well im new to RB and it said to hold down RT or Rb to talk but i dont have a headset for xbl and can u use the mic when ur singing to talk? |

Not sure you're in the right forum, but yes - even if you do have a headset, if your RB mic is plugged in, all in-game chat for vocalists happens through it. You don't have to do anything to talk when forming the band or picking songs/difficulties, but if a song is going, you need to hold down a trigger (I think either one works, don't remember) for the other people to hear you.
I still prefer to use a headset even when I'm talking into the RB mic instead (I just put the microphone to the headset up) because I prefer to hear other people talk to me through the headset rather than through my sound system. |
