Season 9 Leagues Info (Need Suggestions)

I really like the one man band idea. That would be such an awesome league

I greatly encourage the One Man Band league and the DLC league... They would be awesome.

Oh ya and why don't you just upgrade jerridthomas's and nivlac's rivalry into a league? They already got your one man band thing going, and its going great

One man band would be cool. I know that it would just be too much, but maybe combo league. Like Guitar/Vox, Drum/Guitar, Bass/Guitar.

Along with a "regular" Rock Band DLC league, I wouldn't mind seeing a "sightread (3 songs from) this week's DLC" league.

Of course, this was a way better idea prior to the last couple weeks (1 song one week, 3 songs that only some people can sightread the next, and PS3 users can't play any of them during the week they'd be due.)

Here are some league ideas:

Expert Bass League: An open league to anybody who decided to play bass. This will rely on squeezing for the most part.

Expert Guitar AAA,AA, and A Leagues: Same as Season 8 Guitar Hero leagues.

Expert Drums AAA,AA, and A Leagues: Same as Season 8 Guitar Hero leagues, but only for drums.

Expert Vocals AAA,AA, and A Leagues: Same as Season 8 Guitar Hero leagues, but only with vocals. A division may need to be cut due to lack of participation.

Hard Guitar B League: Same as Season 8 guitar Hero leagues.

Hard Drums B League: Same as Season 8 guitar Hero leagues, but only for drums

Hard Vocals B League: Same as Season 8 guitar Hero leagues, but only for singing.

Some more original ideas:

One Man Band: One person play all instruments on whichever difficulty they want , then add the total score for all the instruments. This is an open league.

Voxtar: Guitar and Vocals must be played at the same time on whichever difficulties and the scores will be added. This is an open league.

Voxdrum: Drums and Vocals must be played at the same time on whichever difficulties and the scores will be added. This is an open league.

DLC League: Same rules as one man band, but with only DLC being selected. This does not include exclusive OXM songs.

I will come up with some more later.

Add another vote for DLC leagues, one-man-band and full band leagues. DLC especially, gives me more of a reason to play the songs more than once.

Only 3 sign-ups? If this is the season where more leagues than ever are up, then why only 3?

I plan on joining X Guitar, X Drums, Full-Band (if it happens), and DLC Leagues for X Guitar and Drums. Thats 5 totally different experiences, and I can now only pick 3. Based on this, I would increase it to 5. And I know there will be people who would do Vocals, Guitar (or Bass), Voxtar (if available), Full Band, AND DLC Leagues.

That being said, Full Band Leagues, GH2 Leagues, All GH Games Leagues, DLC and Twist Leagues would all be EXCELLENT ideas.
