S11 - RB2 All DLC Expert Guitar League

Y'know what sucks? I was so excited about BYOB popping up this week... and that turned foul reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal quick. Party Time.... errm.... I think its called the Bridge in this game (lol so used to WT's section name >_>) I could hit almost at will... until this week. Couldn't even come CLOSE to keeping something resembling a combo, which was frustrating. As a result, BYOB (somehow) is the only song I didn't GS this week

Red Devil I got gold stars on rather easily (and was more likely to be FCed than BYOB for me... that's a worry), FCed the other two songs. Black Sunshine I found interesting, I was reading all the comments on existing scores on SH and saw everybody griping about that trill at the end of the song... same trill I never missed in the 4 or 5 runs I ended up giving the song. Yay me.

Should be fun to see how the playoffs turn out, good luck to everybody that's gonna be there ^_^

Shit.... I think I fucked up my fretting hand. I actually had the whole last week off so I decided to play Rock Band all week to get my scores up to date and such. As a result I've managed to severely overwork my hand to the point where playing even simple songs has become incredibly painful. I'm probably going to take a few days off and see if resting up will help. Hopefully things will in working order before Wednesday rolls around, seeing as how I won't have anytime to play after that.

FCed I fought the law with a semi-decent path.
FCed Black Sunshine with a good path.
FCed BYOB!!!!! I just sat there for about 2 hours playing the song over and over and over. It paid off in the end. I would always mess up the start in the verse then FC the rest so I was determined to get it.
ALMOST FCed Red Devil. I FCed the solo but messed up once randomly and once in the downward triplets... I couldn't FC the solo again (tried about 7 times after the run I submitted)

So all in all this week I'm glad i put the effort into the songs. Usually I tend to get bored after 3 or 4 times of playing the same song but I knew I could get BYOB and I'm really glad I toughed it out!

3rd, 3rd, 1st, and 1st! WOW what a week for me! One of my best ever SH accomplishments I think!

I'm pumped for play-offs now. Going into this I would have been happy with making the quarter finals but now I really feel I can win. Infact right now it feels like any of the 9 people who made play-offs could win!

Yeah, your hard work really paid off! B.Y.O.B. FC is impressive enough, but a Red Devil solo FC?!? I wish I could get above 97% on that solo.

Currently I have a grand total of ZERO score submissions (of a possible 10) and the deadline is about 14 hours away. If 82erkle, edisinsane, or both fail to submit, an alternate or two will make it into the playoffs. If we end up with zero, well I will be extremely disappointed in all 10 of you, but besides that, dconrad23 will get a bye in the second round as well. Unscheduled byes due to no-shows are the kind of thing that get leagues cancelled. This is no good for anyone. Please get your scores in!!

Yep, and you were pretty close to winning, too!
