The background is blue in that part as long as you have a bass groove. >_>
No "true" bass solo, and I don't think we'll ever get one.

| The Boys are Back in Town is up there with My Sharona as one of those brilliant song that just puts a smile on your face while still rocking. I challenge anyone to play it while they're having a bad day and not have it turn around completely. |

No, we don't get blue "solo sections" in songs, even when there is a clearly identifiable bass solo.
Because really, what's it going to do? Turn MORE blue?

I'm gonna be honest - I was gonna wait a little before buying the Thin Lizzy pack, but I saw that cover and was suddenly compelled to buy it as soon as possible.

I actually found out some neat stuff looking for that cover.
Apparently, they released a live album back in'78 called "Live and Dangerous." They didn't have enough time to lay down a studio album, so they recorded their gigs for the next couple weeks and picked and chose what songs to play.

Yeah, several of the most notable live albums from the '70s are like this (Frampton Comes Alive, Kiss's Alive!) to some degree.
What shows up in the album art spot for the Thin Lizzy tracks then, if it isn't that image above?
