Saw the TTFAF chart
What the hell is all that fuss about? What were you people expecting? Have you even played the GH3 or GHSH versions recently?
Because this is no worse than those versions, they just charted WTF patterns at different places. But since a lot of those places are just walls of sound you can pretty much put anything.
...and the engine is tighter and (in the case of GHSH) doesn't make liberal use of tap notes because those don't exist, so yeah by default this makes it tougher.
But seriously of course there's absolutely insane parts in the chart but this is what this was meant to do. Why in the hell would you pick DragonForce songs if you wanted to make tame charts? |

Sorry to interrupt, but has anyone found a keys or pro keys chart for either dragonforce song?
Thanks! _________________

EDIT: What. The. Hell.
Anyway, while the DF songs destroy me on guitar, I'm just glad I play all the other instruments, so unlike the GH3 days I can at least have some shiny gold stars and FCs on instruments where they aren't impossible.
The Pro Keys on OGAP were surprisingly easy, even overtiered I'd say. Bar two little WTF moments, it's just holds throughout, with a fun little solo mid-way through.

If every note in the intro is supposed to be a pull-off (c.f. every standard chart we've seen) then the pro guitar intro would seem to be undercharted. _________________

Looking at the TTFAF pro guitar chart, most of the numbers on the chart look almost unreadable without breakneck speed. Seriously. What the fuck is this shit? WHAT. THE. FUCK.
Thanks Elx, Joe, and others for the YT videos. I might download the songs just for sheer hilarity and lols. _________________

Some parts are almost unreadable with BNS on, but I had requests on IRC to do the video without. |
