Steve Vai is one of the most accomplished guitar virtuosos in rock, starting his career working with Frank Zappa, dozens of guest appearances in the decades since, and multiple Grammy Awards under his belt. For the Love of God (Live) comes from Where the Wild Things Are, recorded in Minneapolis during the Sound Theories tour. Unsurprisingly, this instrumental is all about guitar. A long solo filled with sweeping demands consistency to get past it.
