I love the song, but whoever made this song's chart on Hard for drums can go die. Seriosuly, fast as hell rolls on hard? And then the ending...
And I thought Foreplay/Long Time was hard to beat. |

DFTR is only hard at the end....
and FPLT is only hard at the beginning...
Practice those two parts and you will be fine.
I beat them both sightread.
Have you tried RttH yet? _________________

Lol yeah. I thought I was going to pass it my first try and then the ending kicked my ass. I went practice mode on outro c for 10-15min and then passed it the next go. Definitely a tough ending. |

Yeah, I failed Foreplay/Long Time a few tries but then after I got the crucial first star power it was an easy pass, and yes I tried Run To The Hills... eep. |

RttH is the toughest drum chart on hard, imo. _________________

Foreplay and the ending of DFTR both gave me trouble, probably the most trouble out of any song during the hard drum career. Long Time isn't too hard but Foreplay was a pain to beat. Those alternating red then green+bass sections kick my ass. Then the ending of DFTR is just craziness. To beat it all I had to do was save up overdrive then keep playing the same beat before it got crazy and I managed to barely beat it. |

I played that song on hard, thinking it was safe. When my friend had to save my ass a few seconds after the fast tempo part, all he said was "WHAT THE FUCK?"
Constantly failed at 60 percent on Don't Fear the Reaper because of a gay red pad = gay. Something about tape on the mat = +sensitivity? |

Seriously, RttH on hard is ridiculous. I can do most stuff on expert (minus impossible songs), but I dont think I have a chance at this beast. As I type this, I have RttH paused, in the middle of the Hall of Fame Induction (X guitar and bass as well), and I dont think its gonna happen.
Foreplay on Hard I eventually got, but it was a funny sight playing it X with my roommate on X guitar. I crossed my hands to play the fast red pattern with my right, and alternated the blue and green with the left. We managed to get through it because he saved me twice, but it was hilarious how I had to flail all over the place to get the pattern somewhat right. That should really go in Accomplishments, since Im so friggin proud of that.
Ill let you guys know if I can get through this HoF ordeal... _________________

Good luck with RttH. I'm not near as skilled as you all are, but I can't beat it on Medium. I five starred every thing else.
Thing that pisses me off most is that it's my brother's favorite song in the game. So we do it constantly in BWT. And I have to do the bass...........I'm not saying I can't do it (got 97 last run on X), I'm saying I can't fuckin stand playing it. |

the hardest part about RttH on expert is getting the drums to respond to everything. |

My drumset works fine until we get to the fast fucking rolls.
Then it's a piece of shit.
And with my broken foot pedal... |

Man, I thought I was doing good, beat medium career without any fails. only troubling one I almost failed was green grasses long madness.
Then I slid up to hard, no probs, got to 3rd tier.
Didnt play for 3 days. I load it up, im barely 3* anything.
I guess one cant really take a break when learning the drums.
Like everything I mastered in my head and disassociated my limbs, they went back to coop on me. |
