Holy shit. The Disturbed packs are great with a lot of guitar variety.
Indestructible - I definitely enjoyed this the least, but it was still a blast to play. The chord changes get really confusing, but it seems like not to tough of an FC overall. Sightread 5* - 164492
Edit - Fuck this intro, I hate that it takes so long. And FUCK these chord changes. I despise that or whatever one.
Inside the Fire - Very fun to play, this would be my favorite if it wasn't for Perfect Insanity's solo. Lots of fun HO/PO to strum sequences that make it very enjoyable. The solo is pretty fun to play also, and should be simple once you get the fast strumming down. Overall, this is probably the easiest FC since it doesn't have either tough chord changes or a difficult solo. Sightread 5* - 156512
Edit - This solo is actually annoying to get, I can't seem to get the right speed down.
Perfect Insanity - Let me say that that quick hammer-on during the main riff is annoying as hell. With that aside, this is a great song with fun chord changes (IMO) and an insane solo. I'll say this is definitely FC-able because it has a distinct pattern, but it will definitely be the toughest to FC. I recommend this song for guitar because it's so fun to play with loads of variety, not too many chord changes (though the few chord changes are fun), and the epic, but short solo. Sightread 5* - 144292
Edit - So far my best has been 84% on the solo. The transitions make this a bitch.
I'm going to attempt to FC all of these, which shouldn't be too impossible. _________________

I'm actually pretty anxious to see drum vids of the Jimmy Buffett songs. I expected them to be pretty boring, but I've heard a lot of good things about them.
The Disturbed songs on guitar were all rather fun. Indestructible was the least appealing because of the un-intuitive chord changes and easy solo, but I would recommend for everyone to check out its bass part--it's lot like Hysteria. Inside the Fire was my favorite, because the main part was fun to play and the solo was very good. Perfect Insanity has slightly less exciting verses and chorus, but the sweep picking, the solo, and the post-solo were fantastic.
I was surprised that I could pass the drums on a sightread, especially on my laggy HDTV, but they were all managable. Perfect Insanity is much like many other songs already on Rock Band. Both Inside the Fire and Indestructible are bass pedal madness (obviously normally double bass and doing it with one foot gets very tiring), but they're not really that hard. It's not like you have to sync up weird, off-beat bass hits or tricky hand parts, it's just a lot of notes in a row. I certainly don't think they belong in the Impossible tier, or even nightmare, as DFTR and DOA are still harder than these. |

Any chance you DL'ed the other 3 as well?
Those don't look too bad outside of the kicks, which don't look completely unreasonable. _________________

I'm going to download all of these as soon as I have some more MS points. But I have enough right now to just download one so I'm probably gonna get Inside the Fire. Looks the funnest to me and my favorite to listen to of these songs. |
