I can help you out with this, obviously.
The only major event I know of going on in NorCal is the Nvision LAN, but they refuse to allow anything console in there (esp not 360, as it's an Nvidia event and ATI provides the graphics for the 360).
There may be smaller ones happening though.
I can check with Ascendancy Gaming on when their next event is going to be, because they get a warehouse in SF for their stuff. Maybe we can borrow some space for a RB tournament there if we can guarantee them some more attendees. Here's their website: http://www.ascendancygaming.com/
Edit: Oh it looks like their next event is early August. This may or may not work for me, since I think it overlaps with Quakecon. They do events fairly regularly though, so maybe we can get at tourney going at one of those. _________________

I live in sac and theyve had GH and Rock Band tournaments at this place called Club Retro, usually sponsored by GameStop. Its a really nice place, usually brings in 40+ people just from site ads and store ads. Big screen TV and a stage, good stereo and all that. If anyone was interested in maybe pooling money or convincing gamestop to do more tournaments that would be a good place to do it.

EDIT: website seems to have disappeared = / |
