PS2 Users Rejoice?

I think I'm missing part of the files, or mysteriously got a DVD-5 retail version of Rock Band (only has Arks 0 and 1, and Apache reads only 1 layer), but I've been combing through files. In ./config/gen, there is a file called characters.dtb. Using ArkTools from xorloser's site (google xorloser), you can edit and "custom create" the default characters that appear with each song. All the clothing is in ./char/gen/outfitloader.dtb, and the colors are yet to be found.

HOWEVER

Are the PS2 background videos ACTUAL videos, or are characters parsed into them via the game, like the 360 and PS3 versions?

Darn, there goes my hopes for semi-custom characters. So I can safely delete anything pertaining to characters? That's gotta be about a MB taken off xD
