A lot of these "feel" like songs included with the game, if that makes any sense. For the most part, the on-disc 3s and 4s are a lot tamer on Guitar than some of the things that you can download in the same category. (And if you want to argue Creep's difficulty, I counter with Date With The Night.) There are exceptions to that, too, so it's probably a pointless observation.
For a Tier 1, Beetlebum feels like a bit of a chore to play. It's not HARD, so to speak, but it's screaming "new player Pull Off tutorial," with a lot of quick O-B-RY transitions. Makes it difficult to fall into the melody of the song.
Ma Chop ... er, Manu Chao has some double strum spots (or rapid-fire single strums), but everything other than maybe Hier Kommt Alex and Hysteria (both rated as 7s) will be Full Combo and Forget for the veterans.
Me, I like the sound of a lot of what I'm hearing, definitely adds some diversity to the selection, and I'm bound and determined to try to sing Perfekte Welle before the day's out. That should be a train wreck. |

I'm actually excited for Hysteria, I can't wait to download it! Hier Hommt Alex will be great as well, but that'll be all I download this week. I'll save the Oasis song for a slow week. _________________

Man, these songs do absolutely nothing for me. I don't particularly like any of them and the charts seem pretty easy/boring. I'll probably get the Oasis song to keep my "one song per week" streak alive for the third week, but I'm a little bummed that I don't really like any of these songs.
I bought all the DLC up until a few weeks ago and I'm glad I gave that silly ritual up. I see no reason to have songs I don' like jst to get a score into the leaderboards, especially when sightreads yield FCs. I've got a ton of microsoft points sitting in my account burning a hole in my pocket- hopefully there'll be some DLC that I can get excited about eventually. |

We've been waiting 6 months, we're getting charged almost twice as much but DAM! I am excited for Friday. The exclusives aren't up to much. Muse is great. Oasis is okay. The rest are meh but they're on the disc so can't complain |

I only downloaded Hysteria so far but damn is it fun on every instrument. Drums arent particularly hard but the verse beat gave me some trouble, but not enough to sightread 5* it. Also the bass for this song ranks higher in difficulty than guitar for a good reason. That opening bass riff you hear at the begging you play almost throughout the entire song, and wears you down fast.
Overall a fun song and very recommended, plus I dont know how someone could not like Muse. _________________

I got Hysteria, Heir Komit Alex, and Rock and Roll Star. There all great songs, and they have some fun charts. Waiting for someone to put up the guitar vids of the others so I know what they look like, but otherwise probably wont be getting anymore songs for this week. _________________

Couldn't resist downloading this one and taking a couple runs before work. Almost FC'd it, but choked right at the end.

After a first run-through on the drums -- I have to say -The pleymo song is the most fun, followed by R&R*. (in my opinion)
(This post doesn't feel complete unless I make some sort of Limp Croissant reference.. so there you have it.)
EDIT:
HOLY SHIT -
I was just playing through Beetlebum, trying to get some squeezes in, and a fucking bird flew through my living room, right by my head, and out the window.
I learned 2 things from this:
1) I break combo when birds fly at me
2) I need to replace those window screens _________________
