YAY!!!
1st place on Timmy!
For all of you wondering how I got that score, I learned to actually drum open-handed WAY before Rock Band, and I guess it's finally paid off! _________________

Well I don't know why I thought it was DFTR for some reason :/
As for the one-stick, I don't know what to say...I'm really surprised that other people didn't do better than me, and a bit concerned now that I might have entered the wrong info! I really don't know what to do there, it was pretty easy to me but you're right when it gets to R+B, it's difficult, and I would have broken streak a lot there. I'm not really sure how that happened...I really didn't think I was submitting a superb score or anything _________________

Very curious what your technique was to hit two drums at once with one stick on expert given the speed of the chart, that score is huge.
The B+R and Y+G notes in particular are quite hard to do with one stick at that speed and with a 604 streak you definitely hit one part with that combo. A drum stick barely physically stretches across those pads if you lay it down, let alone while striking the pads on 16th notes.
Most people seem to be in the <100 note streak, I'm at 89 from playing easy and using one stick to hit two pads at once (like a flat slap on the rims), but even then, that's not consistent.
Not suggesting you were cheating, just genuinely curious about how you pulled that off. |
Why was my name in bold? I have the second lowest streak and im barely beating the third place guy. _________________

Just to emphasize the dif between 1st and 2nd.
C'mon playoffs!!! Maps with no pedal! RTTH with just the control pad and no sticks! _________________

Congrats RustyWaffle on winning the season!
I'm happy with second place given that I pretty much had to throw week 2 down the drain
Good luck to everyone in the playoffs! |

I'm surprised how many people dropped out of this.
Curious how big the playoff bracket will be. _________________

This could be trouble for me.
I'm moving the 8th, and I might have to skip out on some playoffs. I really hope I can get around this somehow, but if I don't, just assume that I lost (as if I have a chance with Javman AND Rusty here anyway lol) _________________

There is still a possible chance that we'll get some really hard twists though, such as Dead on Arrival with the volume turned all the way up :P _________________

Suffragette City
Difficulty: Any
Instrument: + Drums
Extra: Play only using the face buttons and the foot pedal
I just got arthritis in my thumbs after 2 runs through this... _________________

Yeah thats a hell lot harder than i thought. It's hard to get used to at first, and the rolls require your tapping finger to be in good shape.
EDIT: Bad news everyone (well for me) i tried modding my already broken bass pedal and accidentally broke the reed because im a dumbass. However, i should be getting a new set soon, and if anybody knows how to make the pedal part heavier without buying the mega pedal i will fucking love you _________________

Is your pedal fubar? No backup?
This week's song is going to result in at least one broken off green or red pad, lol. _________________

Well i got a stock pedal now, probably better than the one i had taped together. Definitely still trying to make a pedal though, so i should be able to do the leagues now _________________

I never thought a video game would make me bleed...
PS - the knuckle tap method, though effective, comes at a painful cost. |
