I've done Dead On Arrival blind before (blindfolded - literally, for fun) and managed to JUST squeeze out a five star run! |
Wow, that's impressive However, it was Wanted Dead or Alive. Still, if you could do DOA/FOB then I'm sure you could have done WDOA.
Anyway...Timmy on lefty flip eh? This should be interesting... _________________

Timmy = brutal on lefty
One stick = erm.. hard. No cheating and using one stick + one hand/screwdriver/cat/forehead.... _________________

My drum kit was totally busted, you should see some of the scores I had to submit for the other two drum leagues I'm in
But now I have my TD-6V kit in near full working order, save for one detail, so I get to start working on my comeback!
Good job on both songs, btw, the performance mode especially is not an easy task even with a fully working set when you're used to being told what to hit and when. |

Don't Fear the Reaper in lefty mode simply isn't going to happen.
I don't know why a song was chosen for this that probably 2 or 3 people in the league will even be able to pass.
It's particularly frustrating for me, since I went to play Rock Band for stress relief and...well, didn't get it. _________________

Isn't it Timmy on Lefty? I know, difficult enough. But in response to only 2 or 3 people being able to pass, isn't it open difficulty? I definitely could not get through it on Expert, but I posted a score.... |

Very curious what your technique was to hit two drums at once with one stick on expert given the speed of the chart, that score is huge.
The B+R and Y+G notes in particular are quite hard to do with one stick at that speed and with a 604 streak you definitely hit one part with that combo. A drum stick barely physically stretches across those pads if you lay it down, let alone while striking the pads on 16th notes.
Most people seem to be in the <100 note streak, I'm at 89 from playing easy and using one stick to hit two pads at once (like a flat slap on the rims), but even then, that's not consistent.
Not suggesting you were cheating, just genuinely curious about how you pulled that off. _________________

I agree with the above post. Just seems inhuman to keep it going for that long. A lot of SH members acheive seemingly unmakable goals but the fact that NO ONE even came close to your score is questionable. Usually the spreads simply aren't as high as that. So what was the technique? |

If you're fast enough, you can scrape the two drums on easy, medium, and hard. |

you can do it on expert too, like i did in that video. |
I could see it more on THTF and BB, based on the structure of the chart.
I don't have the hand speed to pull off crazy shit like that on BB, but why not take 3 minutes to give it a try and see if you can pull it off?
The issue I see with BB is there no letting up; THTF has sufficient "breaks" between the notes that you can one hand the triplets and get through the first 800 notes or so without too much trouble as I don't think there are many two-drum notes except for the slower part. _________________
