Welcome to Season 9 of Scorehero Leagues!
This thread is for discussion of the 360/PS2 Expert Vocals leagues. With the new interface, there will no longer be actual threads for the results.
We are still sorting out who will be commissioning each league this season.
Week 1 Songs
Will be posted at the leagues page
All songs must be submitted Saturday Night by 11:59 PM EST (9PM PST). There is no way for us to add or edit scores. If you miss the deadline there is no way for your scores to be counted. If you typo your score, there is no way for us to fix it. Please be careful.
When submitting your scores, the following are now REQUIRED:
Score - Note Streak and %.
Failure to submit each of those field will result in a disqualified score!
DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR SCORES VIA PM!
This season, to facilitate score input, we will be usinghttp://www.scorehero.com/leagues for score submissions. Score submission will go up at some point tonight, it may not be ready exactly at midnight.
Where will results be posted? Results will be posted at http://www.scorehero.com/leagues. We will no longer be having result threads.
When will results be posted? Results will be posted at 11:59 PM EST every Sunday night. This is 24 hours after the deadline.
Playoffs
Playoffs will consist of around half the active participants in each league. In order to be placed into playoffs, you MUST submit scores for Week 4, or if for some reason you are unable to submit you must notify your commissioner before the week 4 deadline.
Forum Conduct
For returning players, we will be running the same rules in the forum as season 7. For those of you who are new, we allow and encourage open discussion of songs. You can talk about the songs, ask for help, post about how you hate the song..whatever.
What you are NOT allowed to post, is hints on your scores. Do not post your current score, do not post a hint about your scores, do not even post if you full combo'd a song or got a specific percentage. Talk of this nature only serves to either fuel your competition, or discourage others. Everybody will know what everybody else got at the end of the week.
We also ask that you do not post league-obtained scores on SH for the week. If you do, it is all too easy for your competition to just look it up. |

Man, that second activation in THTF is HAAAAARD. I tried today and just couldn't get it.
OC and DoA will be a squeezefest, though.
Can't Let Go was my last 5 star. >_>

Funny, I was almost thinking that about Can't Let Go. I wonder if I can match vh's squeeze...
More seriously, the song of those four I've squeezed the worst on so far is Dead on Arrival. The miracle activation in Hand that Feeds will factor into this week's standings, but not much if few people get it - then it might be a squeeze-fest + "can you get the talkies on an otherwise good run?" song. |

I've been starting to get the hang of talky's in general these days. I can now pretty regularly get the talky's in 29 Fingers, and I FC'd Blood Doll today.

You know that this league is going to be one big squeeze fest. I'm predicting quite a few fc's on these songs when the results come through.

Added emphasis. But I'm an optimist, and I'd like to think we'll get surprised with people finding new paths on at least a few songs this season. Even if the scores on the songs don't improve drastically and squeezing on those new paths is needed to really beat the existing paths, at least there would be more variety of skill needed to win on various songs. |

I have never tried so hard on this song... I HATE THIS SONG!!! I have never hit the 2nd activation and then of course here come the talkies! AH!!!

Well for me if I can be somewhat competitive and improve my own scores I will be happy. I'm not the best at squeezing, I'm better at some songs than others.
and also I HATE that middle part of can't let go...you all probably know what I'm talking about (or maybe I'm the only one that sucks at this  )... Got some work to do there. |

Heh, yep, I learned the middle section of the song by trial and error. It wasn't actually that hard, but the first couple times you try it, it seems like the phrase ends before you're really even close to figuring out the right note. |

I tell you, nothing is more frustrating than getting what you think is a great run on a song only to see someone in the league just entered a score that beats yours by 16 pts 
You can have that one nameless person, I'm not going to sing DOA again...I need to work on can't let go. |

. Quick question, is this league everyone vs each other, or are there groupings, so that the best players don't go against the lower-skilled players?
