Man, I'm glad I wasn't the only one feeling this.
I was okay with the change in the main riff, but the chorus's 3-chords just felt fan-fucking-tastic when I was playing Gh80's. It was one of my fav for just that chorus alone. When I got to the chorus in RB I was like, "Man, this kinda sucks.." |

I've yet to be disappointed by the Rock Band DLC.
Thank you. Thank you for this gift. |

Simply awesome, I had fun playing all nine songs and somehow pulled through Screaming for Vengeance's solo without failing my sightread. XD _________________

This Electric Eye chart is soooooooo much better than the 80's chart. There's not just a huge clusterfuck of notes for the solo, but I do wish they would've had some kind of tapping part where solo e was in 80's. I'm also surprised to see YGATC as second tier considering the solo isn't exactly easy. Great week, I just don't have the money to buy it right now . _________________

What? I find the EE chart way, way dumbed down from 80s chart, WAY less fun, 80s had more of a challenge, but it was WAY funner. The only reason I don't have that song deleted now is because of vocals and my DLC band coming up. |

The only way they get it more fun (in your opinion at least) is by adding extra notes that aren't really there.
AFAIK, Rock Band is pretty much the exact song as best it can be transcribed to 5 frets. Personally I think that's a lot cooler, because you're actually playing the real music.
But then, I'm not an expert guitar player, just drums, and I sure as hell would be pissed if they threw in extra drum notes to make it harder and "more fun" _________________
