I think that maybe we could have a separate section for score tracking for PS2 full-band users that combine solo scores, without the unison bonuses and stuff. You can see stuff like this in threads here and here.

I know that Deimos will be turning this into a league, but it would be nice to keep our progress.

Just a thought.

but in all reality, yep. i have been fighting for this for like 2 months.

i did PM JCirri about this same idea, but he said no. maybe if we get all the PS2ers to sign a petition...

For reference I'll post my response to the PM which explains my reasoning why it doesn't make much sense to adapt to the SH leaderboards:

The only problem I see with that is that it'd be easy to take the best solo score for each person on a particular instrument and then apply those bests towards a "band" total score. Whereas in a true band score all members would be required to achieve those "bests" all at the same time, so full band FCs would be much more common in the "PS2 online" bands. It's true that the unison bonus and band multipliers wouldn't apply but for those reasons too it doesn't really make sense to input scores that don't compare with the rest (even if it is generally less than the rest).

If you want to compete in this type of situation, however, you guys are certainly free to organize a Rivalry topic and advertise it based on whatever rules you like.

how that is true, yes. BUT, it will be a league, so it seems like you could implement something. COME ON, WE'RE DYING HERE!

Meh, seems like too much work and coding compared to what we have to do (add four numbers).

Plus, it's pretty cool it will be a league anyway.
