|
|
I don't mean hardest guitar song, I don't mean hardest vocals song, I mean the hardest to play guitar to and sing at the same time.
I think it would be I Get By. Verses are very irregular on guitar (no real patterns and alot of grace notes) and singing is off-tune and off-rhythm. Then there's that part before the slowdown that goes totally all over the place for vocals and the guitar part still feels awkward. The speedup is really the easiest part, since it's the same thing played and sung over and over again but it goes faster.
What are your opinions on the hardest voxtar song? |

I Get By is probably the hardest. Dead on Arrival is in that same category. Timmy is also hard. |

for me, It's dead on arrival, brainpower, and Highway star (and basically anything that has that has a really simple beat, but vox that are way different than the beat). I get by is cake compared to those on voxtar... _________________

Suffragette City is the hardest guitar/vocals (NOT VOXTAR) song for me. _________________

i actually find songs like i get by, electric version, dead on arrival, etc., to be easier because you're essentially playing a rhythm guitar part while singing. this allows you to go more on auto-pilot with the guitar part. songs which force you to play specifically lead parts seem more difficult to me.
my list would be:
- brainpower (solely because of the fast triplets during one of the verses)
- train kept a rollin' (the exemplar of "specifically lead parts")
- outside (though it can be easily conquered by practicing, the weird rhythm of the hammer-on chords in the second half of the song is hard to sing to)
- run to the hills (though i can hit most of them, i just can't seem to get all of the fast three-chord sets) _________________

I Get By took me a while to master, but to this day, I still can't do Gimme Shelter without failing out at least twice. Can't get the vocal line relatively right without staring at it. |

I came here specifically to post this song, but you beat me to it. So I'll just +1. |

This. I can get the rhythm down eventually, but at first its a mess on guitar.
Of the DLC I would have to say NotB. For some reason I can't do the alternating notes while singing. _________________

T&TLOTU and Suffragette City are probably the hardest for me at least. I failed Suffragette City on ESL just because I wasn't familiar with the song. Technical-wise, I Get By is quite a challenge for Voxtar. _________________
