Nah, I was just giving you a hard time :P "One Man Band" sounds way better than "One Person Band" anyway. _________________

Yeah... If we do the Full band leagues (yes pl0x) here are some possible twist Ideas:
Overdrive use: none or max 2x/4x/6x at a time, etc...
Instruments: switch around. instrument X and X must switch for that song, etc.
Single instrument twist: any twists that would be normally applied to 1 instrument. _________________

As long as there is some kind of Bass league for me to play in (Hope that there will be!!), I think that will suit me just fine. I also dont have a mic or drums, so that puts me out of almost every other league. As well, (like in the GH side of SH), I offer up my services to help out any way I can. I would actually prefer to help over playing, so if need be, im on top of it _________________

I don't see how this is necessary, the only rules for the DLC league would be you must be willing to play any of the songs available as DLC.
If you own them all.....great. If you plan on buying whatever comes up in the league....also great. If not then no-ones forcing you to sign up, there will be tons of other leagues to choose from. I'm pretty confident lots of people will still sign up under these conditions - I know I will, please make it happen guys
As for limiting signups I agree it's a good idea to stop huge fall out numbers. I'd love to sign up to loads of leagues again but also know from S8 experience that 4/5 leagues is just too much. I stuck with all 4 RB ones to the end (dropped out of GH3) but my scores sucked and I didn't enjoy it as much as previous seasons as I was trying to do too much. 3 seems like a good number _________________

My personal input mirrors deimos... for RB, I would love to see the following leagues run:
One "person" band league
DLC only league
voxtar league |
Don't you wanna see HPZ go up against other 4person bands in weekly competition?
also, I don't know if most people like twists (I wasn't here when twists were popular in leagues) but I can imagine that they are REALLY hard to enforce or prove. _________________

Here's one I've been thinking about in school today.
The Money Race (Rock Band, Full Bands):
Each point earned is one dollar. So, if the band in all earns 851,750 points, they have $851,750. Bonuses will be earned for the following criteria:
All Easy earns a 5% bonus, Medium earns a 10% bonus, 20% for Hard, and 30% for all Expert.
Various bonuses will be added for these.
An extra 5% for every person that gets a perfect (100%).
$500 for each bar of Overdrive power left ROUNDED DOWN.
Ten times the total ending bonus, if available.
$1,000 if all band members are at the top of the crowd meter.
More to come. |

For full band leagues, instead of having a weekly schedule, maybe you could have a bi-weekly schedule. Because some weeks, with RL stuff whole bands get together, but when they do multiple songs can be done. _________________

As in one person doing just Vocals and Guitar/Bass by his/her self.
And versing another person doing the same thing. It would be a challenge and add an amazing twist! (Sorry elx)....
=D |
just a tip, your avatar is too wide. It stretches the page.
also, the leagues aren't run head to head (until the playoffs), so you're technically "versing" everyone in the league. _________________
