This is for guitar
I was thinking about having a thing based off the NFL, with 30+ people, and we will have a schedule of 17 rounds, with each person in 1 of 8 divisions, and 4 divisions in 2 conferences. Just like in the NFL, in the regular season you will face people in your division twice, get a bye week, and the rest is playing a random person, only 2 from a different conference, the rest in the other 3 divisions in your conference. After that we will have the playoffs and finally the "Super Bowl".

This is how a round will be played: You will have to add your competitor as a friend to invite them to a score duel (If you have too many to add them all, you can remove them after it is over) and pick 3 random songs, play all 3, even if someone wins the first two. The leader of the match has to keep a record of the song, each person's score, percent and note streak (it would be best if the leader had a camera)

During the Super Bowl, it could go up to 5 songs instead. We are playing random songs so DLC will be included, and most people don't remember paths for every song, so no optimal scores, and not as many FCs with only one playthrough. Also if a song gets picked twice, you can switch to a different song, otherwise you must play it
To make it easier for me, we can pick a football team to represent, and if we get 32 people, I will use the 2007 NFL schedule.

To 360 users: I was debating whether to let you in, it will help signups, so I will, but it won't have the same feel, also you would have to tell your opponent any DLC you have so they don't play a song you don't have. And you would still only be able to play once, no restarting ever, even if you miss an easy note in the beginning. And for scores, one of you will pick the songs by going to quick play and using random, play them and only tell your opponent the songs, pm me songs, scores and percents. I will make a post with your results

pick a team when you sign up

for cross-platform matches you tell opponent what DLC you have

one of you plays 3 songs randomly and only tells you what songs to play, then you play them once and both of you pm me your songs played, scores, percents, and note streaks

No Cleveland Browns in the AFC North???

Also, if you get enough interest, I would do separate leagues for each platform to prevent giving cross platform users an advantage of playing songs over again (even thought its against the rules, you know some people will play until they get 3x FC's with optimal paths).

And one final question, is there a difficultly mandatory level? Is this only for Expert, or can you play on any level? Might want to add that also.
